History of Corneliani

Corneliani was officially founded in 1958 by Claudio and Carlalberto Corneliani. However, its history goes back even further, to the 1930s. Alfredo Corneliani, Claudio and Carlalberto's father, started producing raincoats and outerwear in Mantua. Production was interrupted by World War II, but Claudio and Carlalberto revived it. They founded Corneliani SAP in 1958 and ultimately made the Italian brand a leading player in the international fashion world.
