About creed
James Henry Creed opened his first workshop in London in 1760. What began as a tailor for the English aristocracy grew into one of the most respected perfume houses in the world. The company moved to Paris and has since been passed down from father to son. Olivier Creed and his son Erwin continue the craftsmanship today.
In a Parisian suburb, every fragrance is hand-measured, mixed, and filtered, entirely according to the founder's traditional method. Only the purest natural ingredients are used. Each fragrance is the result of generations of knowledge about what makes a perfume extraordinary.
"The tact and discretion with which a royal, aristocratic and socially prominent clientele were handled, rapidly became part of the Creed legend."0
