History of Corneliani

Corneliani was officially founded in 1958 by Claudio and Carlalberto Corneliani. However, the history of Corneliani goes back even further, to the 1930s. Alfredo Corneliani, father of Claudio and Carlalberto, started producing raincoats and outdoor clothing in Mantua. Production was interrupted by the Second World War, but was revived by Claudio and Carlalberto. They founded Corneliani SAP in 1958 and eventually made the Italian brand a leading player in the international fashion world.
