A good conversation sometimes begins unexpectedly: on the golf course, over dinner, on the way to a special destination, or even among the clothing rails. The Ogér Business Club brings together entrepreneurs who share an interest in style, craftsmanship and new experiences. What unites them goes beyond clothing.
Those who step into Ogér come for the clothing, but often stay for the conversation. Our stores are places where customers meet and where personal service is a matter of course. As shopping habits changed, and the pandemic accelerated that shift, we wanted to build on that special connection.
The Ogér Business Club offers several membership levels, each with its own terms and benefits. Members take part in a range of networking activities and meet other entrepreneurs. Membership also includes store credit, the amount of which depends on the level chosen. In practice, this gives members a considerable saving on clothing, in addition to the club's other benefits.
Because members pay in advance for store credit that they spend later, Ogér can plan ahead with greater confidence. This commitment helps us, for example, to invest in our stores and to purchase collections from leading brands. It also allows us to give our brand partners greater certainty of demand, which strengthens our collaboration with them.
With the different membership levels, we offer members a clear structure in place of the varied individual customer arrangements of the past. At the same time, membership is about more than store credit: members bring their commitment, experience and contacts; Ogér offers personal attention and occasions to meet. Together, we shape the club.
Some conversations go beyond a first introduction. At the Ogér Business Club, members have the opportunity to meet in a variety of settings, share experiences and exchange ideas. We organise each gathering with the same attention to hospitality and detail that visitors to our stores know.
The programme ranges from golf tournaments, padel, rallies and cycling tours to driving experiences, dinners, receptions, galas and trips abroad. Here we work with partners at the very highest level in a range of fields, from watchmakers to award-winning chefs. Members can discover remarkable places and become acquainted with the story and craftsmanship behind exceptional products and experiences. Sometimes we gather in one of our stores, sometimes at a location elsewhere.
Every gathering involves a great deal of preparation. Together with our exclusive partners, we attend to the venue, the programme and the welcome on arrival. In this way we create an environment in which members feel welcome and get to know one another easily.
What follows from that, we leave to the members. Sometimes it remains a good conversation. At other times, a meeting at the table or on the golf course grows into a collaboration or a lasting business relationship. The club's special moments are also captured in a yearbook for members.
Entrepreneurship gives the club its character. Almost all members are entrepreneurs. They know what it is to spot opportunities, make decisions and sometimes live with uncertainty. That shared experience makes it easy to go beyond the usual first introduction.
That is why we ask at registration whether someone is an entrepreneur. In this way we stay true to what makes the Ogér Business Club special for its members: the opportunity to meet others who know entrepreneurship from their own experience.
The Ogér Business Club grows through the people who continue to meet there. We are proud of the community that has emerged, and we will keep investing in gatherings that bring members together.
