FEYENOORD EN OGER VOOR SEIZOEN 2018/2019

FEYENOORD AND OGER FOR SEASON 2018/2019

OGER delivered the tailor-made suits for the 2018/2019 season to Feyenoord yesterday - ten children who have committed themselves to charity were allowed to attend

Rotterdam, July 25, 2018 - OGER officially delivered the so-called Easy Suits to players, staff and management of Feyenoord yesterday. It is now the eleventh time that OGER has dressed Feyenoord. Ten children were allowed to attend because they have worked for Rotterdam residents through the Feyenoord Street League of the Feyenoord Foundation over the past six months. It was also announced that head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst will become ambassador of the new customization department in Rotterdam: Atelier Munro by OGER.

On Tuesday afternoon, July 25 at 2:00 PM, the brand new tailor-made suits were presented by the football players in the 1908 training complex in Rotterdam. This is unique: the complex is new and private, it is very special to be able to enter it as a non-player. The ten children of the Feyenoord Street League were invited by OGER, because the company wants to put people who are committed to society in the spotlight. The Feyenoord Foundation and Street League reach thousands of young people and supporters every year through their social activities, which are partly achieved through collaboration with social organizations and the business community. Brand director Sander Lusink: “As a company we would like to give something back to society. So instead of inviting business guests, this time we decided to invite children to attend who have done something good for their fellow citizens in Rotterdam.”

Rotterdam children had the day of their lives

The ten young guests had collected the most points with all kinds of chores for neighbors: shopping, sweeping gardens, going on outings with the elderly and the like. The Feyenoord players signed footballs and the children had the day of their lives. Shayel (12 years old): “I thought it was a great experience! I had seen the players before at Feyenoord's open day, but now I have a football with all the signatures on it. Of course I won't play football with it myself, I'll put it in a special place later. Kenneth Vermeer is my great idol!” The Feyenoord Foundation warmly welcomes OGER's initiative. They want to get the residents of Rotterdam moving and do everything they can to improve the quality of the living environment. OGER also wants to fulfill its social responsibility in the field of clothing production. The players, staff and management have been measured and fitted by the OGER Corporate Fashion Statements team, the most sustainable corporate clothing specialist in the market.

'Gio: "OGER always shows us what is trendy at the moment and we can make a choice. I like classic and this shade of blue was my favorite. It is the second time that we have a slightly younger one for the players." look', with polo shirts and sneakers.''.

Ambassadorship Giovanni van Bronckhorst

It was then announced that head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst will become an ambassador for the new customization department of OGER in Rotterdam: Atelier Munro by OGER. CEO Martijn Lusink: “The great thing about this concept is the leading customization using the latest and fastest techniques. A suit will be delivered to your home within three weeks for a price starting from €448.” During the season, Van Bronckhorst will be dressed as a true style icon in various sets that he will wear during the matches. Van Bronckhorst: “I have enjoyed being an 'icon' of OGER. I love fashion and clothes and this year I am getting several sets to wear during the competitions. Very nice, because it allows me to vary every week.”

Easy Suit for the players: trendy and comfortable

In recent years there has been an international trend in the field of tailor-made suits; young customers still want to wear a suit, but in a trendy and comfortable way. This also applies to the Feyenoord players. CEO Martijn Lusink: "OGER developed the Easy Suit; a tailor-made suit made of fine wool with a lot of stretch, making it wonderfully comfortable. In the warm months the players wear a light blue long-sleeved polo made of cotton, in the colder months they have access to a beautiful dark blue long-sleeved shirt. polo made of Tasmania wool. Both come from Italy, of course, and are made to measure. Beautiful dark blue suede sneakers with white soles are worn under the suit.”
Head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst has chosen the Easy Suit himself: "OGER always shows us what is trendy at the moment and we can make a choice. I like classic and this shade of blue was my favorite. It is the second time that "We have chosen a slightly younger 'look' for the players, with polo shirts and sneakers. You can see that they prefer to wear that rather than the formal one. While the staff and management feel comfortable in a more traditional outfit." That's why they wear an ice blue, slim-cut cotton shirt with a tie with the Easy Suit. Lusink: “The F of Feyenoord is subtly woven ton on tone on the dark blue silk ties from Como, Italy. Under the suit they wear a dark blue, double buckle shoe made of suede.”

Collaboration OGER and Feyenoord

Brand director Sander Lusink and CEO Martijn Lusink look back on another special year in terms of the collaboration between Feyenoord and OGER: “This goes beyond a purely business one. Van Bronckhorst has been a welcome ambassador and OGER icon of our company for years. Feyenoord players and staff are at home in our store in Rotterdam. OGER is proud that Feyenoord won the Johan Cruijff bowl and the KNVB Cup last season and is looking forward to the collaboration with great pleasure!”
