The story
From tailor's apprentice to family business
Before opening his own store, Oger Lusink went through every step of the craft: from tailor's apprentice to managing director. In those years he saw what was missing in Dutch menswear, which was then largely defined by German brands: a place where the client, craftsmanship and passion take centre stage, with Italy's sartorial tradition as the starting point.
At the opening on P.C. Hooftstraat, surrounded by his brothers Rob and Martin and a circle of friends and associates, that conviction first became visible. Today OGÉR is led by his sons Martijn and Sander: a second-generation family business with the same core values as at its founding. The timeline below shows how that journey took us from a single store to four locations across the Benelux.
