BONTONI'S HERITAGE

From a small basement in his home, Guido Gazzani worked for hours hand-sewing shoes for other local manufacturers. In 1958, Guido made custom shoes for members of the local nobility and merchants. Bontoni represents one of the last remaining established, in-home (“casa e bottega”), family artisan workshops in all of Italy.

The Bontoni look is versatile with a discreet, Italian elegance. The shoes reflect a rich origin of Italian craftsmanship with a refined, stylish design and recognizable details.

Bontoni recognizes that masterful craftsmanship and creative design can only be fully expressed by using the highest quality materials. Nine master craftsmen patiently produce only 7-9 pairs per day.
